New PHS Billboard

2006: If local residents didn’t know about the
Placencia Humane Society before, they'll be certain to learn about
it now and that’s because of the new billboard erected just outside
Wallens' Grocery Store in Placencia Village.
The sign is the result of many people’s endeavors – Rene Hercules
who made the billboard, Winnie Martens who painted it and Stan Smith
and Joe Nasca for erecting it. Big thanks also go to Lucy and Harald
Wallen for giving PHS permission to mount the billboard in its new
location.
All these people are supporting PHS in their own unique way – and
PHS is eternally grateful for their support.
The billboard will give information about PHS Clinic dates, news of
events as well as pictures of pet owners with their pets.
PHS thanks everyone involved in this project – it’s one way of
keeping all pet owners informed of what help is available for them
and their pets, where and when.
